Our mission

Tamarind Specialists Centre provides a holistic approach to patients with colorectal conditions, aligning each stage of a patient’s journey with the information and support they need.

The centre has also expanded its services to include family medicine, respiratory medicine and breast surgery teams, offering health screening service, as well as diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical services for breast disorders and respiratory conditions to the public. At Tamarind Specialists, we believe that treatment is a collaborative effort that requires the support of many people working towards one goal – to provide our patients with care and support every step of the way.

About Tamarind Specialists

Tamarind Specialists is part of OncoCare (Hong Kong).

Led by several founding doctors, including Dr. Teo Man Lung Peter, Hong Kong Sanatorium Hospital Honorary Consultant in Clinical Oncology, and Dr. Chu Kin Wah, Colorectal Surgeon, alongside an experienced team of oncology and colorectal specialists, our clinics offer a wide range of treatment and care options for the Hong Kong community.

We operate two “Tamarind Specialists Centre” provide comprehensive, one-stop care for colorectal diagnostics and surgery. The centre has also expanded its services to include specialties such as family medicine, breast surgery, respiratory medicine, etc., offering health screening and referral services, as well as diagnosis, treatment and surgical services for breast and respiratory diseases to the public.

The other two “OncoCare Cancer Centre”, offering inpatient and outpatient services, including in-house chemotherapy, providing treatment for all adult cancers. Our services include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, hormone therapy and surgery that delivered alongside reputable hospital partners.

Our centres provide a convenient, confidential and comfortable environment for patients and their loved ones, backed by advanced medical technology and an international standard of treatment delivered by a caring medical team.

Four centres in Central and Tsim Sha Tsui serve more than 20,000 patient visits annually, including international patients from across the region. We believe every patient deserves the best care. We strive to ensure that patients, and their families feel safe and supported during the most challenging of times.
