[香港/ 11 November 2025] Tamarind Specialists today announced the launch of six comprehensive health screening plans at its Central-based Tamarind Specialists Centre, supporting Hong Kong’s public health efforts in promoting early detection and cancer prevention.

With a strong commitment to patient‑centred cancer care, Tamarind Specialists continues to advocate for proactive health management through regular screenings—an approach aligned with the Department of Health’s long-standing strategies in cancer control.

The newly introduced screening plans cover four major areas of health needs: lung health, colorectal health, women’s health, and men’s health. These plans offer structured, evidence‑based test combinations designed to help individuals identify potential health risks early.

As part of this initiative, Tamarind Specialists is pleased to welcome Dr. Annie Chung, Specialist in Family Medicine, who joined the centre in November. Dr. Chung will provide professional consultations and personalised recommendations for individuals undergoing screening.

The screening plans are available in the Tamarind Specialists Centre (Central), with online and WhatsApp booking opened from early November. The rollout reflects Tamarind Specialists’ ongoing efforts to expand accessible screening pathways and to empower the public with more options for preventive care. The organisation will continue to broaden its distribution channels, including partnerships with local online platforms and corporate partners.

Lung Health Screening Plan

Key items include:

• Low-dose CT Thorax scan
• Cancer marker tests related to lung cancer risk
• Additional assessments including metabolic syndrome screening and resting ECG

Colorectal Health Screening Plan

Key items include:

• Faecal occult blood test (FOBT)
• Cancer marker tests related to colorectal cancer risk
• Focus on overall colorectal health

Women’s Health Screening Plans (three plan options available)

Key items include:

• Pap Smear test
• Breast ultrasound, pelvic ultrasound, thyroid ultrasound, or 3D mammogram
• Cancer marker tests related to common female cancer risks

Men’s Health Screening Plan

Key items include:

• Low-dose CT Thorax scan
• Upper abdominal ultrasound
• Prostate and bladder ultrasound
• Cancer marker tests related to common male cancer risks
